The safe house, run by the Penelope Association, provides shelter for women and girls who were trafficked for sexual purposes. Mary left home at the age of 17 to work in Italy, to escape a life with no prospects but was tricked by traffickers into prostitution.

Best friends forever, Sujata 11, and her BFF, Angelina, 10 participate in a UNICEF-supported art therapy session in Bungamati village on the outskirts of Nepal. These are learning centres for Rohingya children who have fled Myanmar to neighbouring Bangladesh. UNICEF is currently running 182 learning centres in Rohingya camps and makeshift settlements in Cox’s Bazar, and has enrolled 15,000 children. 1300 more centres are planned.
